    Waterford — Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection seasonal staffer John Delaney from the Quinebaug Hatchery dumps a net full of brown and brook trout to stock Hunts Brook in Waterford on Friday, in preparation for the April 14 opening of fishing season.

    Hatchery workers Delaney and Dave Mancini stocked about 900 trout in Hunts Brook before moving on to put about 550 in the east branch of the Eightmile River in Salem.
