Latino, a 30-year-old horse at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, was recently inducted into the Equus Foundation’s Horse Stars Hall of Fame. He joins 11 other horses nationally who will be memorialized for their athletic work and impact on people.

Latino, a Shire-cross, was donated to High Hopes in the late 1990s. Characterized as stoic and gentle, he works with a variety of visitors and clients, providing many with their first horse ride.

Another High Hopes horse, Poncho, was named to the Equus Foundation’s Horse Stars Hall of Fame in 2012.
