Arts camp at Conn College celebrates 25 years

The Thames Valley Music School Arts Camp celebrates 25 years this year, accepting registration for its next sessions running July 23-27 and July 30-Aug. 3.

The camp was founded in 1992 as part of the former Summer Music Festival at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford. It is open to ages 6-13 to explore musical theater, dance, visual arts and circus arts.

The full-day camp has two one-week sessions, with different programs each week.

The arts camp is based at the Cummings Art Center at Connecticut College, 270 Mohegan Ave., New London.
