Salem Schools to destroy outdated special education records

In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes, Salem Public Schools will be destroying all inactive special education records of students born in or before 1992. Records also will be destroyed for special education students who graduated from high school or transferred out of the district more than six years ago.
All files are scheduled to be destroyed on Aug. 24. For more information, or to obtain a copy of the records, call (860) 859-3988 before Aug. 20.
