The U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG-82) passes Ledge Light at the mouth of New London harbor as it departs on Monday, Sept. 10, 2018. The Lassen was docked at Fort Trumbull State Park in New London for the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival, which ended Sunday. The Lassen is named for Medal of Honor recipient Commander Clyde Everett Lassen and is the 32nd vessel in the class.
