Friends and Neighbors: College student curates exhibition

Mystic resident Kailee Robinson guest curated “More than Fashion: Vanderbilt and Pucci from the Collection” at Albright College in Reading, Penn.

Robinson, a junior at Albright, is studying fashion merchandising and arts administration. She is currently working as a curatorial intern at the Freedman Gallery, which is housing the exhibition of paper works by fashion designers Emilio Pucci and Gloria Vanderbilt.

“The exhibition strives to paint the fashion designer as artists of many mediums,” she said in a release. “‘More than Fashion’ draws parallels between creatives Vanderbilt and Pucci, whose primary mediums are painting and textiles.”
