In the Galleries: Hygienic hosts local painters Patnode and Zhang

Mark Patnode: “State Street”

Hygienic Art’s biggest exhibition of the year opens Saturday, June 1, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free, with a cash bar and complimentary appetizers. “Zhang / Patnode” features recent works by local painters Christopher Zhang and Mark Patnode.

The exhibit runs through June 29, and gallery hours are noon-7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, and noon-4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call (860) 443-8001. Hygienic Art is located at 79 Bank St. in New London.
