Lottery winner cashes in $2 million ticket bought in Mystic

The person or persons who bought a winning lottery ticket worth $2 million this month in Mystic has cashed in, a Connecticut Lottery Corp. spokeswoman said Friday.

Whoever bought the winning Mega Millions ticket at C Depot Citgo, 48 Stonington Road, claimed the prize Thursday at lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill and asked to remain anonymous, Tara Chozet said.

“They asked not to be named on our website, and we obliged,” she said.

The ticket was drawn June 14. Winners have 180 days to claim such a prize.
