Norwich NAACP to host annual Freedom Fund Dinner

Norwich — The Norwich branch of the NAACP will hold its 56th annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Spa at Norwich Inn at 607 W. Thames St., Norwich.

The event, which begins with a social hour at 6 p.m., will have the theme, “When We Fight, We Win,” and will feature keynote speaker state Attorney General William Tong and presentation of several awards to local businesses, individuals and civic groups.

Tickets are $75 for adults, $50 for youths age 18 and under. RSVP no later than Sept. 25 and make check payable to NAACP Norwich Branch and send to NAACP Norwich Branch, P.O. Box 24, Norwich, CT 06360.
