Best Cleaners opened its new location at the Old Lyme Marketplace with a $500 donation to Connecticut Audubon’s Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center, a neighbor in the plaza at 90 Halls Road in Old Lyme. The check was presented to the organization at the Sept. 6 ribbon cutting for the business.

“We are excited to be in the Old Lyme community and look forward to helping keep it clean and green for years to come,” Shawn McCann, Best Cleaners owner and president, said in a release. “We are impressed with the individuals and work being done at the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center and happy to lend our support. Their mission is important and impacts all of us in Connecticut.”
