Nighttime lane closures on the southbound side of the Gold Star Bridge are scheduled to begin the week of Sept. 30 and take place over the course of about three weeks, the Department of Transportation announced this week.

Construction crews will "complete final “punch list” items to officially close out the rehabilitation of the southbound Gold Star Bridge," the DOT said in a news release.

"Multiple nighttime lane closures will be necessary to perform the work and lane closures will occur for approximately three weeks," the release states. "Additional off-peak lane closures may also be necessary to expedite the work activities."
