St. Vincent de Paul Place in Norwich to host 40th anniversary open house Thursday
Norwich — The St. Vincent de Paul Place soup kitchen will host a 40th anniversary celebration and open house Thursday to showcase its services and facility in the former St. Joseph School and to discuss future plans.
The event will run from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the school at 120 Cliff St. in downtown Norwich. Food and prizes will be provided.
“Come tour our building and spend some time with all of us,” the flyer for the event states. “See what we do and what we dream of doing.”
The facility provides community meals, a food pantry, case management for clients, community partnerships, showers, apartment furnishings, a hair salon and even pet care services.
