Williams school roars with ‘Lion King’

Braden Porter of Westbrook performs Oct. 23 in the Williams School production of “The Lion King Jr.” at the Williams School Auditorium. The musical was directed by Simon Holt with the help of three assistant directors: Sydney Swann, 15, of New London, Aliya Khan, 15, of Mystic, and Keri Doherty, 17, of Waterford. Each student’s mask and costume was handmade by their peers. The school’s productions are all run by students, with the help of adult guidance.
