Norwich — The Lillian S. Young Spelling Bee was held Monday at Norwich Free Academy's Slater Auditorium. The 37th annual event was established in 1982 at the bequest of Winfred Charles Young in memory of his mother Lillian S. Young. Participating NFA students compete by grade level and the four winners receive a cash award from the NFA Foundation.
