My Pet Pal: Bailee
This is Bailee, the best cocker spaniel to have ever lived. She passed in August at just shy of 15 years, a good run for an English Cocker with several health issues in her life time. You may have seen her at Harkness Memorial State Park, Bluff Point, Gillette Castle or Devil’s Hopyard. Wherever she went, she greeted all with a gentle, friendly doggy smile. She loved children as well as anyone who would give her a kind scratch. People always asked “What kind of dog is she?” in her later years. She started out as a freckled brown and white dog, but by the time she passed away, she was nearly snow white with big paws and soft hair, looking like a mini polar bear at times. I cannot tell you how much she is missed. She will be my angel dog forever.
