Groton — Forensics expert Jim Streeter will give a presentation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Italian-American Citizen Club, 322 Mitchell St.

Displaying crime-scene photographs, Streeter will demonstrate how analyses of handwriting, footprints and tire tracks help solve crimes. Streeter, owner of North East Forensics, is a former forensics examiner with the Connecticut State Police and has consulted on many high-profile cases.
