Preston power outage Tuesday afternoon temporarily left 325 without power

Preston — An Eversource spokesperson said 325 customers were temporarily without power on Tuesday afternoon, due to an outage caused by a cable issue.
The outage started about 12:40 p.m. and power was restored to all customers by 2:55 p.m., Eversource spokesperson Frank Poirot said.
Crews were continuing to work Tuesday evening to make a permanent repair, he said.
