Preston — Town fire and emergency services departments are seeking the donation of a used clothes washer to allow responders to wash and decontaminate clothing after calls.
The department received a donated dryer, Fire Chief Tom Casey said, and is still looking for a used washing machine to decontaminate their clothes in the event of coming into contact with people who had the COVID-19 virus.
Anyone with a washer to donate is asked to call Casey at (860) 917-4900.
