Waterford — Allison Calabrese and her daughter, Lillian, 10, of Old Lyme were spending some time painting the pond Wednesday at The Arnold E. Holm Jr. Memorial Park.

Allison said they enjoy painting occasionally and Lillian wanted to paint a nice scene and suggested the park.
