Kiwanis Club awards scholarships

The Kiwanis Club of New London recently awarded the N. Blake King Scholarship to three area students. Luisanny Castillo, Nikiah Perry, and Honora Ryan were selected from among 38 applications from 10 schools to receive $3,000 scholarships, recognized for their academic and community achievements.

The three students, recent graduates of Fitch and New London high schools, were honored in a luncheon at Langley’s Restaurant in Waterford. For more information, visit newlondonkiwanis.org.
