Mystic Garden Club members honored by Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut

Two members of the Mystic Garden Club recently received awards from the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut.

Diana Stanzione of Groton received a certificate of individual achievement in the environmental concerns category for her work encouraging recycling and reducing plastic use, as well as her work in the herb garden at Coogan Farm.

Pam McGee of Mystic received a club citation award in the horticulture category for her work harvesting plants for the Mystic and Noank Library’s spring plant sale as well as collecting greens for the club’s annual winter greens sale.
