    East Lyme reports 10 more COVID cases connected with schools

    East Lyme _ Superintendent of School Jeffrey Newton has announced schools will be open as planned Tuesday after the school system was notified Monday of 10 additional COVID-19 cases among individuals connected with the school system.

    He said many of the cases reported today are specific to family members and siblings and contact tracing has been completed. The cases involve the Flanders School, Lillie B. Haynes School, the middle school and high school. The last dates the individuals were in the schools range from Dec. 18 to 23.
