Readers select first topic for relaunch of The Day's CuriousCT feature
The Day readers have spoken.
Last week, we relaunched our CuriousCT reader engagement feature by asking you to vote on which of three reader-submitted questions you would like us to write about next.
The voting round ended Monday. The winning question, with 126 out of 218 votes, was, "Are there known and active white supremacist groups in southeastern Connecticut?" Reader Gary Trahan had sent us the question pertaining specifically to Groton.
We decided to expand the topic to explore whether any domestic hate groups are operating in our region. We have assigned this topic to Staff Writer Julia Bergman and will be publishing a story in the near future.
