The state saw high winds the past few days, including here in southeastern Connecticut, where a tree was resting in the yard of 9 Harvey Ave. in Waterford on Tuesday.
The weather is expected to be milder and warmer Wednesday, with sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 40s, the Meteorological Studies and Weather Center at Western Connecticut State University forecasts.
