Norwich — A drive-up mobile food distribution will be held starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Norwich Free Academy, sponsored by the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut.

The distribution of the prepackaged food boxes will take place at the senior student parking lot on Reynolds Road behind NFA. Drivers must enter the lot by coming down Reynolds Road from the area of the Norwich Recreation Department at the junction of Mohegan Road and Mahan Drive.

Drivers then turn right into the student parking lot, receive the box in their open trunks or back seats, and turn right out of the lot onto Reynolds Road. The traffic pattern is designed to prevent backups in the area.

The mobile food distribution is scheduled to run until 4 p.m. or supplies run out.
