They were joined by their mothers, Star LaFredo and Emy Espinoza, who decided to make the stop after spending the morning at the beach. "I was kind of hoping they would crash this afternoon," said Star. "I might be regretting this stop."

The popular ice cream shop at Mitchell College is open seven days a week and recently transitioned to serving food and coffee year-round as well.

After three days of high temperatures, Thursday is expected to be cooler with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
