North Stonington — Children from around the region competed in a miniature version of the popular tractor pull, though instead of roaring engines, their machines were powered by little legs and feet.

The contest was to pull a specific weight the furthest distance. It was for boys and girls 4- to 7-years-old, and classes were by age group, with the free-for-all class being for all ages.

The fair runs through Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
