Our 8-year-old daughter, Cora, completed walking a mile plus a day for the past 366 days on Sept. 16. She walked outside every day with one of us despite the weather. She walked in sun, rain, wind storms, snow, fog, every weather you can imagine. She walked around the house outside when she was ill. She walked in different states and different areas such as a stadium, if needed.

We are very proud of her dedication and perseverance with this goal. It started as a mile a day for two weeks and grew to the end of the year and then on Jan. 1 she decided to go for an entire year plus one day to include the leap year.
