    Let’s Go: Norwich Arts Center's jazz series returns

    Miss Lottie’s Café series presents an evening of songs in the style of musical legend Dionne Warwick at Norwich Arts Center’s Donald L. Oat Theater.

    The vocalist taking you on this journey down memory lane will be Norwich native Laura DelGado-Clemons. Miss Lottie’s Café is a jazz theater series presented by Norwich Arts Center. Its mission is to incorporate music and history to highlight local artists of color.

    The show is at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6.

    The series is named for Lottie Scott, NAC neighbor and former member of its board of directors.

    Laura DelGado-Clemons currently sings with the band d’Allegro in the Boston area. She is grateful for all the musical opportunities that have come her way and helped her along this musical journey.

    In May 2021, Laura was honored in Simsbury as one of “The 100 Women of Color” for her dedication, commitment and community involvement in her musical accomplishments and her hard work in the field of education and community service.

    She is excited and honored to be performing at the Norwich Arts Center for Miss Lottie’s Cafe. Laura will portray this musical role with style and class that will make for an enjoyable evening.

    Laura will be accompanied by the Jim Hunter Trio. Tickets are $22 general admission, $20 for seniors and students, $18 for NAC members and can be reserved at norwicharts.org/events.
