Mystic — A frequent winter visitor to the Mystic Seaport Museum in recent years has returned.
The Mayflower II, a replica of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to America in 1620, arrived in Mystic on Dec. 1 and will be in the shipyard for much of the winter for maintenance.
Staff at the museum's Henry B. duPont Preservation Shipyard on Thursday were power-washing the hull of the vessel.
