Following its championship run that resulted in winning the Class M state championship, the Stonington High School boys' soccer team wanted to find a way to thank the community for its support during this season.

Over the past few weeks team members staffed food collection drives that allowed them to collect 60 full shopping bags and four cases of non-perishable food items that were delivered to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, along with 16 McQuade’s Marketplace gift cards for distribution to those in need.

The team thanked McQuade’s for allowing it to set up a collection table and the community for supporting the team.
