Currach rower gives fellow members an Irish dance lesson

Old Lyme — Members of the New London Currach Rowers and friends learned basic Irish step dancing Saturday from fellow rower Thomas Kabel, 15, of Old Lyme at the Rogers Lake Clubhouse.
Earlier, the group had a business meeting and then its off-season gathering, where Kabel gave the dancing demonstration and lesson, and then a potluck dinner.
