In the 1930s on Central Avenue, a trolley driver stands next to his trolley at the Trolley Barn in Greeneville. Behind him is a Perkins Candy delivery vehicle. In the door of the trolley is a “Franklin Square” placard that will be placed on the inside of the trolley’s windshield, to show its next destination.
