Lunch was served Dec. 19 for the Groton Elks Club's special education groups with the City of Groton mayor, Groton City police chief and assistant police chief in attendance.

Local firefighters also came to enjoy the party. Another dinner event for Special Olympians included a magician, DJ and dancing. Both events have been held at the Groton Elks Club for approximately 25 years.
