Norwich Avenue looking toward Greenville, circa the 1930s. Taft Station, a one-time trolley stop, is on the left below the flagpole. Just past Taft Station is Nippy’s Field, where the Taftville Drive-In was located in the 1950s-1980s. The new LaStella’s Italian Bakery & Market is now located in Taft Station.
