Your Turn: Norwich Marina wake sign gets new life

The marina wake sign that I started to restore last November was returned to the marina manager, Don Wallace, last month. The 5- by 5-foot sign fits in a frame and then on foam pontoons and is placed in the Thames River.

One side says WELCOME and faces down river for arriving boaters and the other side says SAFE VOYAGE and is seen by those boaters leaving the marina. The marina manager had asked me to restore and repaint it to match the colors I used on the Norwich Harbor mural last summer.
