Let's Go: Ocean House presents ‘In Conversation with Stephen Lash’
The iconic Ocean House, the award-winning resort in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, will be holding a series of art talks and presentations, “In Conversation with Stephen Lash,” and the community is invited.
Lash, who resides in Stonington, is chairman emeritus of Christie’s Americas and Advisor on the Arts to Ocean House.
Lash plans to bring top personalities and speakers in the art industry for entertaining and educational session starting 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, when he is joined by John Hawley, a senior specialist in old master paintings at Christie’s, and Matthew Hargraves, Chief Curator at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. They will discuss tales of the scandalous world of fine art fakes and forgeries.
Ocean House also plans a program on the Salem Witch Trials in October.
