    Make Music Day serenades southeastern Connecticut

    Musicians performed in several public locations in southeastern Connecticut, including the Lyman Allyn Art Museum at 625 Williams St., on Tuesday as part of the annual Make Music Day.

    Make Music Day, held on June 21, is a worldwide celebration of music that began in 1982 in France and is now in 1,000 cities and 120 countries. It is open to all musicians of all ages, amateur or professional, and all kinds of music. The performances are free.
