    Deep River — Onlookers lined the sidewalks as drummers and fifers in colonial attire filled Main Street on Saturday for the Deep River Ancient Muster Parade.

    The event brings in fife and drum groups from across the country every year on the third Saturday of July.

    Those who participated in the parade had the opportunity to compete against one another throughout the day at Devitt's Field.
