Norwich — Three members of the Norwich Fire Department received promotions Friday afternoon.

Department Chief Tracy Montoya welcomed staff, family members and friends at Fire Headquarters for the ceremony for 20-year veteran Scott Belleville, as well as firefighters Christopher Paige and Andrew Cooke.

Belleville was promoted from lieutenant to the rank of captain and will be assigned to Squad A on second shift, according to a department news release Friday night.

Paige, who has been with the department for 12 years, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and is assigned to Engine 3 on third shift. Cooke, an 11-year member of the department, also is now a lieutenant and will be assigned to Engine 3 on first shift.
