Friends & Neighbors: NAACP Norwich branch hands out business scholarships

On July 23 the NAACP Norwich Branch and Queen Bee’s Oil, Inc. presented Business Scholarship Awards to Norwich Free Academy graduate Ashley Pierre and Norwich Technical High School graduates Elliot Amedzekor and Lunaic Turenne. Each graduate received a $250 scholarship to continue their pursuit of college or business.
The NAACP Norwich Branch Queen Bee’s Oil, Inc. Scholarship Award was established to honor a graduating senior(s) who has exhibited a strong interest in the field of business or entrepreneurship.
