USA Today readers rank Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun among top casinos

Southeastern Connecticut’s casinos again took top honors in USA Today’s annual 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards, led by Foxwoods Resort Casino being named “Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas” for a fourth time.

Mohegan Sun finished No. 1 in the “Best Casino Hotel” category for the fifth year in a row and also was fifth in the rankings for both “Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas” and “Best Player’s Club.”

Voting took place this summer after nominees were chosen by a panel of USA Today editors and industry experts.
