Fitch Marching Band to present marching competition on Oct. 22
Groton ― The Fitch Falcon Marching Band will present the Sounds by the Sea 10th Annual Marching Competition at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
Gates will open at 2 p.m., and the event location is Fitch High School’s Dorr Field. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
There will be 10 bands from three states. Performing ensembles include East Windsor High School, Joseph Case High School, Plainfield High School, Manchester High School, Westerly High School, Rocky Hill High School, Ledyard High School, Norwich Free Academy, Blackstone-Millville Regional High School, and Robert E. Fitch High School.
“Come out to a great night of food, music, and entertainment by talented young musicians,” the flyer states. There will be a 50/50 raffle, bake sale, and concessions.
