The situation: Their father is suffering from debilitating illness and has been hospitalized for many months now. He had been the primary supporter for many years, while mom has stayed home raising their two small children, one of whom has special needs. Mother now working part-time, but really struggling to make ends meet.

What to give: Gift cards to grocery and department stores, as well as monetary donations to assist with rent and other household expenses will greatly help this family.
