HER SITUATION: Marie has struggled with a lifetime of trauma, illness, injuries and homelessness. Earlier this year, she lost her housing and found herself living in a tent for several months with medical issues. She is temporarily staying in a room with the hope of relocating to an apartment that she can call her own with a Section 8 voucher. She needs help finding an available first-floor apartment on the bus line.
WHAT TO GIVE: An available first floor apartment for rent, a lift recliner and gift certificates to purchase household items.
