WHO: Brian, a 64-year-old single man from Norwich.

THEIR SITUATION: Brian’s sole income is from Social Security Disability, and has been homeless for six months after losing his room in a home that he was renting. Working with Reliance Health, Inc.’s Outreach to Homeless Program; as well as on his own, Brian was able to obtain an apartment with the aid of TVVCA’s CHESS program. He has moved into his new unit, but his limited income has hindered him from obtaining the objects that allow an apartment to become a home.

WHAT TO GIVE: Kitchen appliances (microwave, coffee maker, and toaster), kitchen supplies (cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, etc.), living room furniture (coffee table, chairs, couch/loves seat, end tables, lamps, television), bathroom supplies (towels, floor mat, etc.) and bedroom furniture (dresser, bedside table, lamps).
