    New London ― People arrived at Hygienic Art in downtown New London during the day Saturday to place their art in the Hygienic Salon Art XLIV Des Independants show for opening night.

    The Hygienic GRANDE Salon Exhibition, for over-sized artwork, around the corner, at 312 State Street, was also busy with people selecting their spot to show their piece of art.

    The event runs through February, 11th.
