    New London’s Harbor Elementary School wins major award from Big Brothers Big Sisters

    Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut’s Foster Grandparent Program recently announced that New London’s Harbor Elementary School has been named its Program Site of the Year. The award recognizes the Harbor School’s ongoing receptivity to the youth mentoring organization’s Foster Grandparent Program and its warm interaction with the Foster Grandparents (senior mentors) stationed there. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Foster Grandparent Program currently operates sites at 35 schools and early education facilities across the state.
