Groton ― A public input session will be held Tuesday on the reuse of the former Claude Chester Elementary School property from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Groton Town Hall Annex located at 134 Groton Long Point Road.

“Based on public feedback, a few reuse concepts for the site of the former Claude Chester Elementary School have been developed for consideration,” according to the notice from the town. “At this event, you can learn about the details of the top alternatives and vote for your preferred option.”

Three potential reuse conceptual plans will be unveiled.

The town called the event “a significant step towards identifying the final concept plan for the site.”
