Ledyard grand list shows 1.3% growth
Ledyard ― The town’s grand list of taxable property increased by approximately 1.3% in 2022.
The town’s net grand list, including real estate, personal property and motor vehicles increased by $16 million to $1.26 billion as of Oct. 1, 2022.
Real estate, which comprises the majority of the list, totaled $1.03 billion after accounting for tax exempt properties, a .71% increase.
Motor vehicle assessments rose by $8.3 million, or 5.5%, over last year, to a total of $1.5 million, and personal property grew at less than 1% to $77.3 million.
